The name C SEED Hyde 125 refers to the speakers’ peak SPL, expressed in “decibel sound pressure,” which is the internationally accepted measure of sound performance for the professional audio industry.
For virtually all leisure purposes, the Leisure Standard of 88 decibels, indoors, is safe for your ears. For outdoors, of course, it is higher.
So that 125 decibels translates as “loud enough for all you ever want/can hear.” This is basically the sound pressure experienced by the audience present at a violent pop concert or, for example, the firefighter’s siren!
